First time here?

Coming into church can be a daunting event for the first time, we will do our very best to make sure you are welcome and well looked after.

We have two Sunday services each week, with the exception of the first sunday of the month where we have one combined service, Our early service at 9am is a Traditional communion service it uses traditional liturgy and language and has its roots going all the way back to 1662.

It is a short service with two hymns, a quiet time to reflect on the week that has passed, look forward to the coming week and share fellowship with each other around the Lord's Table.

Our second weekly service is suitable for everyone, at 10.30am we get together to sing, pray, hear and listen to God's word. The service itself is very relaxed in style, whilst being respectful to our roots in the Church of England.

Everything is led from the front and we have three screens with words and multimedia presentations on them. We have a wonderful band and in any one service we can have the whole range of instruments played from the grand pipe organ, guitars, keyboard even down to (occasionally) a wonderfully loud tambourine.

Our 10.30am celebration begins with a children's song where they come along to the front with instruments and play and help us all with the actions, then they go out into our fully supervised Sunday school group. Children are so important to us here they are central to our service, they begin our worship and towards the end of the service they rejoin us and show everyone just what they have been doing, it is just wonderful.

On the first Sunday of the month we share the Lord's supper together (the Eucharist) as a whole parish. Everyone is welcome at any or all of our services and events we provide, without exception.

We have tea, coffee and biscuits after the service, a good time to meet new friends and chat. Steve, Wendy or one of the prayer team is always available to speak privately and offer prayers.
